Multichoice Diski Challenge champions Golden Arrows are flying the South African flag high in Spain, after registering a victory over Rayo Vallecano on Monday.

Arrows, who watch Real Madrid’s 6-3 victory over Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night as part of their Spanish tour, came from a goal down to beat Rayo 2-1 at Ciudad Deportivo de la Foundation Rayo Vallecano.

The hosts enjoyed the possession early on in the game as Arrows tried to settle on foreign ground.

Coach Vusimuzi Vilakazi’s side went into the break a goal down, but they recovered in the second half to give Rayo a taste of South African flair. Nkosikhona Dube netted a second half brace to inspire the champions to a 2-1 victory.

It's a good start from Arrows and next they will come up against Barcelona on Thursday.
