Bidvest Wits head coach Gavin Hunt says midfielder Thabang Monare is back in the team to help overturn the 1-0 defeat suffered at the hands of Primeiro De Agosto in the first round, first leg CAF Champions League.

Wits are hoping to reach the group stages for the first time in their history, but they are going to need a strong performance at home to ensure they go through.

Last year they were knocked out by Egyptian giants Al Ahly at this stage of the competition.

"Yeah we have Champions League, so it will be crucial." Hunt says.

"Monare started training again, so he will start or he will be on the bench because we only got a few [players] left."

The Clever Boys coach says although the Angolan side are difficult to play against, a win is the only result that will matter today.

"They are a good strong side you know, and physical. We need to overturn the deficit. We have to win or otherwise we out. We need to try go through to the group stages."

Kick-off is at 17h00 at Bidvest stadium.
