Andile Jali comments on transfer speculation

Posted: 16 March 2018 Time: 15:10

Bafana Bafana midfielder Andile Jali has commented on speculation that he has signed for a certain team in the PSL.

Jali has returned home after being granted time off from his current Belgian club KV Oostende as he recovers from a knee injury.

The 27-year-old former Orlando Pirates anchorman has been the subject of mass speculation in recent months, with his current club contract set to run out at the end of June.

It has been widely reported that Mamelodi Sundowns or Orlando Pirates are leading the race for his sought-after signature.

During an appearance on Robert Marawa's show on SuperSport TV on Thursday evening, Jali confirmed that he will be returning home for good at the end of this season.

Speaking to KickOff.com on Friday, Jali says he is still available and has yet to put pen to paper with any particular club.

"No, I haven't signed anything," he says. "I'm just waiting for someone to say, 'Ja, come.'"

"But I'm going to stay at home. I now want to be close to my family. I'm okay now, I'm happy with my time in Europe."
