Bafana suffer Andile Jali setback ahead of four-nations tournament

Bafana Bafana midfielder Andile Jali has been ruled out of the upcoming four-nations tournament in Zambia with a knee injury.

Jali, whose contract with Belgian side Oostende expires in June, has been ruled out for a month.

The former Orlando Pirates star is currently recovering back home in South Africa.

Bafana coach Stuart Baxter is due to announce his squad for the event at SAFA House at 11h00 today in Johannesburg.

The competition takes place from March 18 to 25 and will also feature Zimbabwe and Angola.

Baxter is using the spectacle to prepare for the 2019 African Nations Cup qualifiers, which resume in September. Bafana won their group opener 2-0 against Nigeria in Uyo.
