Lorch: I'm not ready for Bafana

Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch feels he is not ready to play for Bafana Bafana right now.
Lorch is enjoying a good run of form, notably scoring for Pirates in the last two victories over Chippa United and Kaizer Chiefs.
However the 24-year-old believes he is yet to hit top gear, as an injury from last term hampered his progress at the beginning of the campaign.
"Every player wants to play for the national team, but for me, I don't think I'm ready now for the national team," Lorch said.
"If you check, I didn't start well this season because of the injuries. It's only now where I'm getting my confidence back because I'm playing.
"Hence I say I'm not ready to go and play for the national team. I just have to get my confidence back before I think of playing for the national team.
"For me it is to play regularly in the team and to help Pirates win games."
Lorch added that his spike in performance is aided by the enhanced understanding between Milutin Sredojevic's charges this season.
The Buccaneers, who finished outside of the top eight for the first time in PSL history in 2016/17 before 'Micho''s arrival, are currently four points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with seven matches left. They also have a Nedbank Cup last-16 date with Cape Town City in the Mother City tomorrow night.
"We are gelling as a team and we are getting used to each other, hence we are scoring goals," Lorch said.
"But if you look at a game against Chiefs, we didn't play well in the first half but in the second half we came strongly and we won the match."
Bafana coach Stuart Baxter at 11h00 today will announce his squad to compete in a four-nations tournament, taking place in Zambia from March 18-25. Zimbabwe and Angola will also be competing at the event.
Baxter will use the competition as preparation for the 2019 African Nations Cup qualifiers, which resume in September. Bafana won their group opener 2-0 against Nigeria in Uyo.
