Transformed Real Madrid club-record scorer Cristiano Ronaldo has been compared to the club's legendary Mexican striker Hugo Sánchez who was known for his one-touch scoring record.
Upon arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2009, Ronaldo was known for his agility, incredible dribbling skills and direct running at defences with sublime close control.
But as he enters the final stages of his career, the Portugal international has transformed his game as a deadly and efficient goal scorer.
After scoring his 33rd goal of the season against Eibar on Saturday, it took Ronaldo's tally of scoring with one touch, to 22 goals for the season.
Sanchez scored 208 goals in seven years at the club but in the 1989-90 season, all 38 goals were scored with a single touch.
Ronaldo's 82.3% of one-touch goals fall dramatically short of the incredible record.
