Reports in Spain claim Atletico Madrid attacking talisman Antoine Griezmann is shopping for houses in Barcelona ahead of a sensational move but the LaLiga leaders first need to 'balance their books'.
Griezmann, 26, was subject to transfer bids from FC Barcelona at the end of the 2016/17 season but out of loyalty, he decided to remain at the Wanda Metropolitano as the club remained restricted under a transfer ban.
Now after news that the France international has a £88m (R1.45m) release clause, the Blaugrana are keen to rope him in as the marquee signing in the off-season.
But according to Marca, Ernesto Valverde's side need to balance their books before his potential arrival after spending £386m (R6.34b) since July last year.
The players rumoured to be shipped off this summer are Denis Suarez, Arda Turan, Andre Gomes, Aleix Vidal and Paco Alcacer.
