Mamelodi Sundowns will be missing two key figures in their Nedbank Cup round of 16 fixture on Tuesday evening.

Midfielder Tiyani Mabunda and forward Sibusiso Vilakazi will both be absent when the Brazilians host EC Bees at Loftus Versfeld Stadium tomorrow.

Mabunda and Vilakazi were amongst five players booked in their previous domestic outing against AmaZulu, which they won 3-1 as the latter netted a brace.

The duo's accumulation of four yellow cards each will now see them serve a one-match ban, resulting in coach Pitso Mosimane having to make forced changes to his side.

Fortunately, Mosimane boasts more than enough depth in his squad, and could well make numerous changes to rest his charges for the second leg of their CAF Champions League first-round tie with Rayon Sports this weekend.

It is expected that either Oupa Manyisa or Lucky Mohomi will slot in for Mabunda, though 'Jingles' may opt to rest skipper Hlompho Kekana too, while George Lebese, Jeremy Brockie or young Keletso Makgalwa could replace Vilakazi in attack.
