Bongi Ntuli set to make request to leave Mamelodi Sundowns permanently

Posted: 8 March 2018 Time: 18:00

On-loan Platinum Stars striker Bongi Ntuli is expected to hand in a transfer request to Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the season.

Ntuli is currently on loan to Platinum Stars from Sundowns until the end of the season. The KwaZulu-Natal-born forward, who has scored four times this season, is still yet to spend an entire season with the Brazilians since he was signed from Golden Arrows in 2014, and has returned for a third spell with Dikwena this season.

According to sources close to Ntuli's management, the player is seeking a permanent move away, with AmaZulu and Maritzburg United reportedly eyeing the services of the former Arrows man.

"Ntuli is tired of being loaned out every season,” the source says.

"He wants to settle down and have a permanent club rather than to keep moving around every season.

"His management team is set to meet with Sundowns in the next few weeks and see if they could reach an agreement that will see Ntuli moving to another team next season," he adds.

Ntuli is unlikely to form part of Pitso Mosimane's plans for next season at Sundowns, so finding a permanent home elsewhere seems to be the best thing to do for the striker.
