National First Division side Super Eagles have severed ties with Spanish head coach Antonio Flores.

Flores departed in the wake of a 3-0 loss at Black Leopards on Sunday.

The Free State-based outfit are expected to announce their new coach tomorrow.

"Yes, it's true we have parted ways with Mr Flores after our meeting yesterday," confirmed Eagles manager Tsoaledi Moloi.

"I must also state that there is no bad blood between us and the coach. We parted ways amicably."

Flores took charge of the team in November from Tshegofatso Mashego, who was demoted to assistant coach not long after steering the side to the NFD from the ABC Motsepe League.

Eagles are 15th on the second-tier table with 23 points from as many games.
