Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola reflects on Chelsea parking the bus at the Etihad

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola says their 1-0 scoreline against Chelsea was not a fair reflection of the Premier League encounter at the Etihad on Sunday.
The Champions-elect welcomed the reigning Champions in what was expected to be an exciting encounter between two giants of the Premier League.
However, the gulf in class was evident as Antonio Conte's side failed to register a single shot on target and sat deep with bodies behind the ball in an attempt to frustrate the Citizens.
Without a recognised striker in the starting XI, as playmaker Eden Hazard toiled away in a false nine role, Guardiola praised his side's efforts against ultra-defensive Blues on the day.
"Chelsea are still champions. They played with 10 players behind the ball, amazingly well-organised, but we didn't concede one chance," he told Sky Sports. "We created enough to win the game, score more goals.
"It's not easy when they defend with nine players in their box, it's complicated to try to create chances. Chelsea didn't have one shot on target.
"At Old Trafford and against Barcelona they created chances, so today we were so good and we didn't concede anything."
Fifth-placed Chelsea are now 25-points behind the runaway league leaders.
