Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has opened up about his next destination once he eventually departs from Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Ibrahimovic, 36, has often been linked with a move to the United States, as a marquee arrival to improve the Major League Soccer brand globally, in the same manner as David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Andrea Pirlo and Thierry Henry in the latter stages of their illustrious careers.
Los Angeles Galaxy have been reported to be interested in the towering Swede, who's won 33 major trophies in a glittering career that started in 1999 with Swedish side Malmo.
And the 11-time Swedish player of the year has welcomed the rumours, insinuating that he's still relevant in European football if the media continue speculating about his future.
"I did not know that several Swedes went to MLS. That means it's tempting to play in the United States," he told reporters in Swedish media, as quoted via Sky Sports. "Los Angeles is a nice city and I've been there a lot on
vacation. It is laid back.
"I think it's rumours all the time [about my future]. When I play and when I do not play it is rumours. That's good - that means I live."
Ibrahimovic has scored 420 goals in 730 games across 22 seasons as a professional footballer.
