Muhsin: Youngsters are salt in the soup

Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral has admitted his side’s dismal away record is cause for concern ahead of the club’s trip to the Free State this weekend.
The Urban Warriors have not won an encounter on the road in their last 14 attempts in all competitions, last registering an away victory in a 1-0 win over Chippa United in May last year.
Bloemfontein Celtic are up next for the Cape club, who went down 1-0 to Golden Arrows last weekend in their previous game away from home, with Ertugral acknowledging that his tactics were wrong on the day.
“The last away game, I think I might’ve wanted to play too offensively… we should have waited a bit and let them come at us and then counter, which we are good at,” he said. “If we had won the Arrows game, we would have been out [of the relegation zone] – that is the thinking we had.
“But it was an unlucky goal we conceded, which affected the result, and only after you can say ‘we should have done something different’. But it could have gone the other way too – that’s football, where there’s only a fine line.
“So yes, we need a victory away – but going away, if we are well organised, we can be better.”
Fourteenth-placed Ajax could leapfrog Celtic with a win on Sunday afternoon, though Siwelele, currently two points ahead, have two games in hand.
Kick-off at Dr Molemela Stadium is set for 15h30.
