Wits out to strengthen top eight hold

Outgoing Absa Premiership champions Bidvest Wits will be looking to strengthen their grip on a place in the top half of the standings this evening.
The Clever Boys entered the top eight for the first time this season with their 2-1 win over Cape Town City last weekend, after languishing below 12th place since the start of the campaign.
They are now on a seven-game unbeaten run in the league, which will come under threat against sixth-placed Baroka at the Bidvest Stadium on Friday night (20h00).
Bakgaga have also yet to suffer defeat in their three league matches since assistant coach MacDonald Makhubedu took up the hotseat amid Kgoloko Thobejane's suspension.
Gavin Hunt, though, will once again be without club top goalscorer James Keene, as well as Malawian international Gabadinho Mhango.
Keene will miss his final match since his red card against Golden Arrows a fortnight ago, while Mhango suffered an ankle injury in their previous encounter that is likely to see him return only in six weeks' time.
The obvious go-to man for Hunt will be Lehlohonolo Majoro, who netted a brace against his former side last weekend, with the other options being Eleazar Rodgers, Thobani Mncwango and out-of-favour Egyptian striker Amr Gamal.
