The Serbian tactician says his players worked hard against a side that are chasing the championship.
“I’m proud of my players because they fought throughout the game. They worked very hard. Yes our opponents had more shots at our goal and created some chances, but overall I think we deserved the point,” the Serbian tactician told SuperSport TV.
“We practiced to have more shots on target but our opponent, it was not easy. I’m satisfied with the approach of the players they worked very hard.
“We tried to make things fresh with substitutions and have a new dynamic but it was not easy. I’m happy with the performance of my players it is better to win but we must be realistic it’s not easy especially as they are running after [Mamelodi] Sundowns to get new points and win the league. I must be realistic I’m satisfied with the result.”
