SuperSport United defender Morgan Gould says Matsatsantsa must put their troubles behind them when they meet "the best team in Africa", Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Tshwane rivals will collide at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday (18h00).
While Sundowns enjoy a five-point lead at the Absa Premiership summit, SuperSport are in the bottom half of the table after a loss of momentum following their CAF Confederation Cup final defeat in November.
And Gould is aware Pitso Mosimane's men are considered the favourites for the upcoming showdown.
"Sundowns is the best in the country and in the continent," Gould said of the 2016 Champions League winners.
"We just need to do what we need to do and forget about what our situation is, where we are. We need to focus on that game, that's what we need to really do.
"We have to concentrate on the game and we are going to give it our all. We don't go to the game and say we want to lose or draw, we want to win.
"The football fraternity is about results and if you don't get results you are not going to get the glory, the joy and the financial gain."
The experienced centre-back is hoping for the fixture to deliver on its reputation for entertaining, free-flowing football.
"You can predict all you want but at the end of the day, football is going to be a winner. It is always interesting when Sundowns and SuperSport play. I mean it's never been a dull game," Gould said.
"I just hope we don't get one of those man-of-the-matches from someone. Let the game win, don't let the individual win because this is a game where certain individuals want to win.
“Let it be free-flowing and entertaining for people who want to watch the football.”
