Italy striker Mario Balotelli could be in line for a sensational return to Serie A with AC Milan and Internazionale keen on ending his OGC Nice nightmare.
Balotelli, 27, has represented both club's in the past but has spoken of his displeasure of his current employers, who've failed to back him over the alleged racist chants he's faced from fans in Ligue 1.
Reports in Calcio Mercato claim both sides will launch bids in the off-season as they look to bolster their attacking options.
The former Manchester City forward joined Les Aiglons on a free transfer in 2016 after an indifferent spell with Premier League side Liverpool which yielded only four goals in 28 games.
However, the eccentric striker has rekindled his career in France by helping the unfancied side finish in third in the 2016/17 campaign, qualifying Lucien Favre's side for the UEFA Champions League.
Despite Le Gym's struggles this season as they languish in ninth place, Balotelli has impressed with 21 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions.
