Ajax Cape Town defender Yagan Sasman wants to get to Europe and stay there till the end of his career.
Ajax coach Muhsin Ertugral recently revealed the 21-year-old is back on the radar of Ajax Amsterdam.
Sasman, whose career has seen an upturn with Ertugral's return to Ikamva in December, trained for two weeks with the Dutch giants in 2014 prior to gaining promotion to the Urban Warriors' first team squad.
He also featured in youth tournaments in Amsterdam.
"Playing in Amsterdam obviously opened my eyes to what we can achieve as South African footballers," Sasman told his club's website.
"I just have to keep my head down, work hard and listen to advice. I’ve learned a lot from coach Muhsin.
"Coming through the youth ranks, the winning mentality has been instilled within me and I never want to accept anything less.
"I’ve always wanted to play in Europe and I want to end my career there."
Sasman has played nine games in all competitions this season, having featured sporadically in the past for the coastal outfit.
