Aubrey Ngoma calls for Mamelodi Sundowns to be ruthless against Free State Stars

Mamelodi Sundowns winger Aubrey Ngoma says the Brazilians must be ruthless when they host title rivals Free State Stars at Loftus Versfeld on Wednesday night.
Sundowns have played a number of the championship contenders this year, having lost to Orlando Pirates, drawn with Kaizer Chiefs and beat Cape Town City.
Ngoma hopes Downs - who are four points clear at the summit with 10 games left - can emulate their success against the Citizens when they take on Ea Lla Koto.
“We have to take that into consideration if a team is competing with you, you make sure you do not allow them to get points from you,” Ngoma says.
“If we don't beat them, we must make sure that they don't win. I think that's what we did with the two previous fixtures and I don't think it is going to be different now.
“We don't want teams to get closer and closer to us. We have to go to this game bearing in mind that it is a team that is competing with us. So they can't get any points from us, we have to win the game at all cost.”
Ngoma, however, has plenty of respect for fourth-placed Ea Lla Koto, who have exceeded expectations this season under Belgian coach Luc Eymael after narrowly surviving relegation last term.
“They have done very well for themselves to get such a good run so far up until now,” says the former City star.
“You can never undermine or underestimate their capabilities and their form at the moment. They are a team that is playing well and getting results.
“So we have to play very well, prepare like we do with other teams. Iit's going to be a tough game but I think we will be prepared. By the time the game finishes hopefully we would have got the three points.”
