Real Madrid look set to launch a bid for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba

Posted: 16 February 2018 Time: 10:11

Real Madrid are planning an off-season move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba who has reportedly grown disillusioned with life at Old Trafford.

After re-joining the Red Devils from Juventus in 2016 for a club-record £89m (R1,46b) the France international was widely expected to lead the English giants to Premier League glory.

However, the 24-year-old has yet to make the desired impact in Manchester and his recent lacklustre performances under manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly causing tension within the dressing room.

According to English publication The Sun, Los Blancos will make an audacious £120m move for the eccentric midfielder, who's been cited as a long-term replacement for the ageing Luka Modric.

Pogba has scored just three goals in 23 games across all competitions for United this season.
