Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has moved to clarify his comments over diving ahead of this weekend's north London derby against Arsenal.
Spurs have come under plenty of criticism following a spate of suggested simulation in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool last weekend, where Harry Kane was accused of diving to win a penalty while Dele Alli was booked by the referee for diving in the Reds area.
Speaking after that game, Pochettino appeared to defend his players' antics after suggesting that too much is made of diving by the English media, although the Argentine has now moved to clarify those claims.
"I don't like it when people twist my words, always my intention is to keep the sense of football That is why I said a few days ago that I love football, because football for me means to be creative," Pochettino said ahead of Saturday's clash against Arsenal at Wembley.
"Don't feel the limits to try to - not cheat - but trick the opponent in a good way. That is how I feel about football. I am not going to change, that is my opinion."
