Leicester City boss Claude Puel says Riyad Mahrez will not face Manchester City this weekend but hopes the midfielder "can get his head right" soon.
The Algeria international remains in a stand-off with the Foxes following his blocked transfer to the Citizens last month, having refused to train with the squad since the end of January.
Mahrez will again be left out of the Leicester squad headed to the Etihad Stadium but Puel hopes the playmaker can put aside his qualms with the club and return to the field of play next week.
"I think Riyad will be not available for the Saturday game against Manchester City," said Puel.
"I hope he can get his head right and come back with us and work hard. The best way is to come back and enjoy his football.
"Riyad is a magnificent player. He loves football, he loves his relationship with his team-mates, he enjoys his football. I think he needs to come back, to play and touch the ball.
"He loves his football, it is important he comes back."
