Makhulong Stadium to host Diski Challenge instead of King Zwelithini Stadium

Posted: 8 February 2018 Time: 14:30

The penultimate round of fixtures in the PSL Reserve League next weekend has been moved from King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi to Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa.

Tembisa was scheduled to host a MultiChoice Diski Challenge festival late last year but was unable to due to a planned upgrade at Makhulong Stadium, which has since been completed.

Lamontville Golden Arrows are chasing a second MDC title after their 2015/16 triumph.

Abafana Bes'thende lead the standings on 29 points and will clinch gold should they beat Orlando Pirates on Sunday, 18 February.

Pirates, Bloemfontein Celtic, Ajax Cape Town and Maritzburg United also have a shot of claiming honours.

Entry into Makhulong Stadium is free but fans must be in possession of a ticket. Tickets will be available for collection at the stadium’s ticket office from Thursday, 15th February 2018 after 13h00.
