"Yes, he has signed with us. He is our player now," confirmed club boss Siviwe Mpengesi.

Manqele secured his release from Free State Stars in January, having only returned to the club five months earlier after being offloaded by Kaizer Chiefs in April 2017.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns man impressed in his first stint with Stars in 2011/12, bagging 11 goals in 29 outings.

He spent close to a year with the Chilli Boys before joining Chiefs in August 2015.

Mpengesi also recently recruited Frederick Nsabiyumva, Fares Hachi, Bantu Mzwakali, Thabo Rakhale and Linda Mntambo amongst others for the Teboho Moloi-coached side.
