Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino flatter by Jurgen Klopp praise after flying form at Anfield giants

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino says he feels 'very privileged' upon being labelled as a world-class footballer and the engine of the team by manager Jurgen Klopp.

Firmino has earned plaudits this season leading the Reds' line, a role he's developed considerably into after initially joining the club as an attacking midfielder.

The tireless forward has rewarded Klopp's faith with a return of 19 goals and 10 assists in 35 games across all competitions and he's now warned rivals there's plenty more to come this season.

"I am never happy – I always want more from myself," he told the club's website. "That will not stop until I've finished my playing career. I intend to score as many goals as I can to continue helping us to win.

In reference to the comments made by Klopp on social media last week, the Brazil international was humble in his response.

"Although I don't follow much on social media, every time I read or listen to these nice comments, I feel a very privileged person. But I do not allow these kinds of comments to go to my head; I want to give more and more in the next match."
