South African forward Phakamani Mahlambi is determined to make the grade at Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
Mahlambi was linked with a move away from Ahly in the January transfer window despite only joining the Cairo-based outfit in September, 2017 from Bidvest Wits.
However, his agent Glyn Binkin says the 20-year-old has every intention of seeing out his four-year deal with the club.
"Phakamani played and scored on Friday," says Binkin, referring to Mahlambi's winner in a friendly with a Saudi Arabian League All Stars team.
"He is aware of the challenges of playing for a big team like Al Ahly. He is ready to fight on.
"He has a four-year contract with the club and has no intention of leaving."
Mahlambi has provided two assists in seven appearances for Ahly.
