Juventus head coach Massimo Allegri says the Serie A Champions are reaching their peak this season but warned rivals their system may change again.
Following the 7-0 thrashing of Sassuolo this weekend, in which star striker Gonzalo Higuian netted a scintillating hattrick, the former AC Milan head coach lauded his side's ruthlessness in front of goal as they remain one point off league leaders Napoli.
Allegri made special mention to the fact that the Bianconeri also took one step closer to the Coppa Italia final in mid-week, after the 1-0 victory over Atalanta in the first-leg tie.
"We have to compliment the lads on how they interpreted the game, as we were coming off a Coppa Italia semi-final and there was the risk of losing concentration," he told Mediaset Premium. "We cannot afford any slip-ups with Napoli marching on so strong.
"I am happy for Gonzalo Higuain's hat-trick and the whole team. Many players are beginning to reach their ideal form.
"This is a different Juve to previous years. We started out with one tactical system, now we use another and I think we'll change again going forward, because we could use more players with certain characteristics."
The Old Lady are in contention of securing their seventh successive Scudetto this season.
