Hunt: We never had the final touch

Posted: 4 February 2018 Time: 00:51

Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt felt his charges lacked the 'final touch' to finish off Kaizer Chiefs.

The Clever Boys remain unbeaten in 2018 after they drew 1-1 with the Soweto giants at the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday evening.

"That's why we are where we are in the league because we miss chances like that the whole year," Hunt told SuperSport TV.

"Not a good result for us because we needed three points, but the chances we missed, crazy.

"They (Chiefs) never came in our half in the first half. They came in there once and they scored.

"We were disappointed at halftime, but we showed a reaction in the second half. I would love to know that percentage of balls in the area, we just never had the final touch."
