Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar sends out European warning after blistering Ligue 1 start

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has warned the rest of Europe there's more to come from himself and his teammates after a blistering start to life in France.

Ahead of the Ligue 1 leaders' fixture against Lille on Saturday, the world-record transfer, who set PSG back €222 million in order to join from Barcelona, says he's been surprised how well he's settled into his new surroundings.

With the pressure of the massive price-tag on his shoulders and the need to justify his move from one of the biggest club's in Europe, the 25-year-old has silenced even the staunchest of critics with 26 goals and 11 assists in 24 games.

"I wasn't expecting this at the beginning, these statistics with Paris Saint-Germain," he told PSG TV.

"But I'm here to help the team and my teammates and to try and do better each day, in each match, and that's the most important thing.

"I want to do more, score more goals and play better. I hope it all keeps going well."
