Ajax Cape Town striker Tendai Ndoro has been cleared by the PSL to face his former club Orlando Pirates in the Mother City tonight.
Ndoro's eligibility was under scrutiny as he has played for three clubs this season, in contravention of FIFA rules.
However, the PSL's Dispute Resolution Chamber has given the Zimbabwean the green light to compete.
The League is yet to explain how they reached the decision.
Ajax announced on Twitter: 'BREAKING NEWS: The PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled in favour of Ajax Cape Town and Tendai Ndoro.
'The Zimbabwe international has been declared eligible for selection.'
Ndoro represented Pirates and Saudi Arabian side Al Faisaly in 2017/18 before reuniting with new Ajax coach Muhsin Ertugral in December. He has made two starts, scoring on debut in a 3-1 win over Platinum Stars before featuring in his side’s 1-0 derby loss to Cape Town City
Ertugral has also been boosted by the availability of new signing Siyanda Zwane.
The Urban Warriors are in the relegation zone with 17 points from 19 games - 13 points less than third-placed Bucs.
Kick-off is at 19h30 at Cape Town Stadium.
