Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has ruled out any possibility of Thomas Lemar leaving for either Arsenal or Liverpool before the end of the season.
The Reds have been strongly linked with an interest in the France international following the departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona while the Gunners were said to have renewed their pursuit, having had a £92m bid rejected in August.
However, neither of the Premier League side will have a chance to signing the talented forward, according to Monaco's Vasilyev.
"He [Lemar] will stay at Monaco until the end of the season 100 per cent," Vasilyev told French radio station RMC.
"If Liverpool or Arsenal come with a big offer before the end of the market? This is not relevant.
"We will say 'no' because the objectives are clear. Without important players like Lemar, we will not succeed."
