Matsatsantsa missed an opportunity to clinch the title on Wednesday evening following a 2-1 loss at home to Golden Arrows, but the Liberian ace is confident they won’t slip up again when they face Santos on Saturday. “I am very happy with this [Player of the Month] award, which has come at the right time to motivate me ahead of our big game against Santos on the weekend. I hope this award brings luck to pick up another medal on Saturday,” Laffor says.
“Our loss against Arrows is behind us and I’m confident me and my teammates will do the job and take the trophy back home. The spirit in the camp is very high and you could see during training that the players are all fired up for the game.”
Laffor revealed that it might be his last medal in South Africa should they win a second successive League title on Saturday. “My manager has told me about interest in Germany, but I’m not yet sure about the team. It’s my dream to play in Europe and if that opportunity is in the Bundesliga then I will grab it with both hands,” he tells KickOff.com.
