He sympathises with the players who are at Dikwena, because of the uncertainty surrounding the club at the moment. Stars at the bottom of the Absa Premiership standings, still without a victory in 2018.

“I have heard rumours they want to sell and maybe that is disturbing them. They are going through a lot. They are a good club, but I think that’s disturbing them,” Nyauza says.

“It’s going to be a tough game. They have not won a game in 2018 and they are at the bottom of the log. They are fighting relegation, so they are going to go out there and fight.”

There was OJ Mabizela, Dillon Sheppard, Stanley Kgatla, Henrico Botes and other good players. That’s why I took the knowledge they taught me and I apply it now,” he says.

The defender admits that it’s difficult to predict who will win the league title this season.

“Right now it’s too tight. This seaosn is not like other seasons, it’s not obvious. When it’s closer to May I will be able to tell you. Right now we are focused on our performances and still trying to build from last season.”
