Eric Tinkler's side are now 11th in the standings with 21 points from 17 games - five points above the drop zone and three behind eighth-placed Chippa United.

The Nedbank Cup and MTN8 holders next host relegation-threatened Premiership champions Bidvest Wits at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday (20h15).

“We are looking forward to the game on Saturday. It’s going to be a tough one but we are ready and hoping for a positive result,” Furman told his club's website.

“It’s been tough to the team but we will certainly bounce back and cement a place in the top-eight bracket.

“The players are looking good and we will continue pulling in the same direction to the last day of the season.”

Matsatsantsa will be minus suspended centre-back Morgan Gould on the weekend.
