Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Dino Ndlovu has explained why he decided to join Chinese second-tier club Hangzhou Greentown.
Ndlovu recently penned a two-year contract with Hangzhou after a successful spell in Azerbaijan where helped Qarabag qualify for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.
The 27-year-old linked up with Qarabag at the start of the 2016/17 season from Cypriot side Anorthosis, managing 20 goals in 54 appearances.
"My move is one of the best decisions I have made for my family and myself," Ndlovu tells KickOff.com.
"So far so good in China, can't complain. I am still trying to get used to the altitude and sleeping patterns.
"My target has never changed individually. I just wanna do better than what I did with Qarabag and help the club get back to the Super League and score more goals."
Ndlovu says the need for financial security prompted his latest switch.
"Look at the end of the day I didn't wanna leave Qarabag but my contract was ending. I did well and had a chat with the coach about a new contract and felt like he didn't wanna give me a new contract, because there players got extensions on their contracts.
"I had to be realistic with myself and family. I wanted security with my future as I am not growing any younger. I decided to take this opportunity and come here."
