Polokwane City midfielder Sammy Seabi pleased to secure a point away to Orlando Pirates

Posted: 20 January 2018 Time: 23:00

Man of the match Sammy Seabi insisted that Polokwane City were content with a point despite relinquishing their lead to draw 1-1 with Orlando Pirates on Saturday night

Dominic Chungwa's first-half volley was cancelled out by Lyle Foster in the 86th minute as Rise and Shine held the Soweto giants.

Speaking to SuperSport TV, he said: “It wasn’t an easy game to play, but we went there with a plan.”

Seabi said that Bernard Molekwa’s plan involved staying compact on defence, which was why he personally remained reserved going forward.

“It wasn’t easy playing against players like Mpho Makola, but I just told myself that I can manage if I push myself to the limit,” he explained.

“[The point] feels good. As a team, it will motivate us for the next game.”
