Mamelodi Sundowns got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Platinum Stars in an Absa Premiership match at Loftus Versfeld.
The two sides could not find combination passes in the opening ten minutes, which resulted in scrappy play although Masandawana were entering the last third more often.
Sibusiso Vilakazi opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a stunning right-footed curler from 20 yards that sailed into the top left corner, 1-0.
Two minutes later, Khama Billiat made it 2-0 with a beautiful free-kick from the edge of the box that sailed over the near side of the wall and into the back of the net.
Billiat got Sundowns' third goal and his second five minutes later with a similar free-kick that left Dino Visser with no chance once again.
The Brazilians could have added more goals in the closing five minutes of the half but it was not to be as they were already cruising.
Percy Tau almost got the fourth goal for the home side two minutes after the break with a left-footed strike, but Visser made the save to deny the forward.
Dikwena were dominating possession after the hour and stretching play wide on the wings as they looked to get on the score-sheet.
New signing Aubrey Ngoma was handed his Sundowns debut, replacing Billiat just after the hour mark.
Pitso Mosimane threw in another debutant in the 72nd minute with Gaston Sirino replacing Vilakazi.
Tau found the back of the net 10 minutes from time after going clear on goal but he was unfortunate to be flagged offside.
Masandawana were exciting going forward in the closing minutes with their new additions but they could not create clear-cut goal-scoring opportunities as the clash remained 3-0 at the full-time whistle.
