QT Sports CEO Tim Sukazi says his client Xola Mlambo's move away from Bidvest Wits is imminent.
Speculation has been rife in this transfer window that Mlambo is set to join Orlando Pirates as part of a swap deal involving Abbubaker Mobara.
'Ten Ten', who joined Gavin Hunt's side last season from Chippa United, was excellent in the first half of 2016/17 along with Thabang Monare as they formed a devastating midfield combo, helping Wits win the MTN8 for the first time since 1996 against Mamelodi Sundowns at Mbombela Stadium.
However, he wasn't as influential in the second half of the season for the eventual league champions as injuries hampered his progress, with Hunt going on to sign Granwald Scott in January last year.
"Xola has triggered interest from various clubs following his excellent performances for Bidvest Wits, which saw him playing a big role in Wits winning three titles in a short space of time," Sukazi tells KickOff.com.
"The discussions between Wits and one of the clubs are at advanced stage, such that his move is now imminent."
Sukazi also dismissed talk that Mlambo's contract has been terminated by the Clever Boys.
"There's no truth in that Xola's contract has been terminated," he adds.
It is understood that Mlambo's relationship with Hunt has deteriorated of late, with the player leaving a training session earlier in the campaign after clashing with the ex-SuperSport United mentor.
