Maritzburg suffer Thlone setback

Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids has confirmed the club's new signing Bokang Thlone is out for two months with an injury.
Thlone sustained medial collateral ligament damage when playing a friendly for Bidvest Wits, who he recently left as part of a swap deal involving fellow defender Denis Weidlich.
The Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate was restricted to three outings for Wits in the first half of the season following his arrival from Free State Stars, as Sifiso Hlanti made the left-back position his own at Milpark.
"He played a friendly match for Bidvest Wits just before he came here and he picked up the MCL injury. So he won't feature in the next two months," said Davids.
"He'll be out for most of the time with this injury. Unfortunately upon doing the medical we saw that injury."
Since making his debut for Ea Lla Koto in 2013/14, Thlone's only PSL goal came against Chiefs in the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals when he exchanged passes with Goodman Dlamini before rifling a shot past Itumeleng Khune at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium in November 2016.
Maritzburg recorded the biggest PSL win in their history with a 4-0 rout of Bloemfontein Celtic at Harry Gwala Stadium on Friday.
Davids' men bettered the 4-1 scoreline they enjoyed against SuperSport United on 22 October 2014.
