Cape Town City have tied down midfielder Thabo Nodada with a new contract.

The Citizens have secured Nodada's services for another four years, which will see him remain in the Mother City until at least June 2022, the club announced.

The 22-year-old was promoted from the Mpumalanga Black Aces youth academy at the start of the 2015/16 campaign, and relocated when the franchise was sold to John Comitis in May last year.

Nodada has become a key figure in Benni McCarthy's side, having contributed one goal and one assist in 18 starts from central midfield this season.
