Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung says Keagan Buchanan and William Twala could move before the close of the transfer window at the end of this month.
The players have been struggling for game time this season and both of them have attracted interest from clubs in the PSL.
Maritzburg United and Cape Town City are said to be interested in Buchanan, while Free State Stars are looking at securing a loan move for Twala.
Chiefs have brought in Siphelele Ntshangase and Kabelo Mahlasela, so competition for places will be even tougher for Buchanan and Twala. Going out to get game time will be good to revive their careers.
“I have been engaging their agents in terms of trying to find a solution because as you know they are also not playing, it is a concern. They are quality players,” said Motaung.
“Clubs have made statement like Maritzburg that they want Keagan but they are not coming to the party in terms of negotiations.”
Another player whose future at Chiefs is uncertain is left back Sibusiso Khumalo. There’s Tsepo Masilela, Philani Zulu and youngster Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya to compete with in that position.
He could also make an exit this month.
