Khenyeza to Europe

Khenyeza to Europe

Posted: 5 May 2009 Time: 4:16 pm

Ajax Cape Town’s star striker Mabhuti Khenyeza looks set for a move to Europe next season while PSL clubs are tapping him up illegally.

With 24 goals in all competition so far, including African club competition, Khenyeza deserves all the attention he’s getting.   But some of the attention from PSL clubs has been offside. According to sources close to Khenyeza, he has been approached by PSL clubs without them going first to his agent or to Ajax, with whom he has a contract for two more years.   When approached for comment, Khenyeza’s business manager Glyn Binkin said: “I’m disappointed that he’s been approached because he’s still contracted.   “There are clubs in Europe proper who are interested. We believe Ajax will work with these clubs and find a solution,” Binkin says.   “Ajax have a proven record in selling players abroad and not to local clubs so this is good news for Mabhuti, whose first priority is to go to Europe.”   Khenyeza’s future at Ajax looks in doubt given rumours of a likely return to the club for Muhsin Ertugral, with whom he famously fell out at Kaizer Chiefs.

You deserve a chance overseas my brother. But It might be wise to consider this local teams because this overseas teams are going to take you on trial and there after tell the public that they liked you but have a full foreign quota. Which would be a betrayal. I think the local teams should start first by talking to your team and your manager because as I say you do not deserve a trial call at many a leagues in Europe but be sure they are going to call you for trials. But good work my brother and hats off for you. I'm so jelous as to why Mushin did this to us. "Let you go" I think he should have left himself not you.

Wish you all the best. Have always admired your work from Arrows but work on your big stage fright that surface when you play for Bafana.

Good luck Mabhudi. U deserve it all. I agree that France is for you. Africans do so well there and they get big clubs after France - look at Drogba.

T.T: maar why are so harsh on the guy - even our local quality midfielders have failed us kwi Bafana Bafana,,except Teko...so all these Nales, Mashegos, Klates,Moriris, Shabalalas,Bongani Khumalo just run outta gas kwi other levels of football or maybe it's our technical team who can utilise them efficiently...don't know, probably:

But the ball is your court but please don't go to leagues lyk abo Israel, Serbia, Sweden and Denmark: Can't we produce players lyk the Ivorian guy (Yaya Toure)who plays for Barcelona ?

This guy is a clown and he won't succeed. the fact that he's a leading goal scorer this year doesn't mean he's something to write home about!!

Good Luck Mabhudi, but you play well in small teams..
I agree with Obakeng...you are not a star type of a player...even with being a Top goalscorer currently you still only Mabhuti Khanyeza, or Khenyeza...
