Orlando Pirates' Bernard Morrison attracts overseas interest

Posted: 8 January 2018 Time: 16:00

Orlando Pirates midfielder Bernard Morrison has attracted interest from a Turkish club.

According to a source at Bucs, the unnamed side have invited the Ghanaian for a trial.

"The club has submitted the invitation for Morrison for an assessment," says the source.

"There are a few things to tie up before he is allowed to go."

Morrison joined the Buccanners on a three-year deal in August 2016 from Congolese giants AS Vita.

Pirates today announced they have extended the contracts of fellow attackers Luvuyo Memela, Mpho Makola and Gift Motupa, who is on loan at Baroka for the season.

The Sea Robbers recently did business with Chippa United, as Nkosinathi Mthiyane and Thabo Rakhale headed to the Chilli Boys with Diamond Thopola and Phetso Maphanga moving in the opposite direction.
