Orlando Pirates have triggered one-year options on two of their influential midfield attackers.

The Bucanneers have tied down Luvuyo Memela and Mpho Makola until June 2019 after exercising the one-year options on their contracts, the club announced on Monday.

“I can confirm that the club has triggered the extension clauses of both Memela and Makola for another season,” said club administrative officer Floyd Mbele in a statement.

Despite having been sent out on loan to Baroka until the end of the current season, the Mayfair-based outfit have also exercised the option on Gift Motupa's deal.

“Furthermore, I can reveal that we have triggered our one-year extension clause for Gift Motupa, who is still on loan at Baroka FC,” added Mbele.
