New Mamelodi Sundowns signing Aubrey Ngoma is looking forward to playing in the CAF Champions League this year, while he’s also got an eye on lifting his first Absa Premiership title.
The 28-year-old winger joined the seven-time league champions in a deal said to be worth R8 million from Cape Town City and has big dreams.
Ngoma was a target for Sundowns in the last transfer window, but City were unwilling to let the player go on deadline day, especially after losing captain Lebogang Manyama.
“I am looking forward to competing in all fronts. It’s a club that wants to win every single trophy available to them. It’s a massive honour to have finally joined the team,” the left winger said.
“I am looking forward to travelling Africa in the Champions League and obviously conquering it and going to the Club World Cup. Winning the league has been one of my dreams as a youngster and I have an opportunity now to achieve that dream. I am looking forward to getting the work done on the field.”
