Bloemfontein Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco has confirmed the club's interest in Baroka's Siphelele Ntshangase, while he said an announcement will be made regarding Kabelo Mahlasela's future.
Celtic are looking to pounce after Bakgaga recently rejected a bid from Kaizer Chiefs for midfielder Ntshangase.
Ntshangase has his heart set on making a move to Naturena, so it remains to be seen if he will be open to joining another club.
Despite all the talk about a possible switch this month, the former Black Leopards man has remained focused and is training with Bakgaga as they prepare to tackle Orlando Pirates in their first match of 2018 at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
"Yes, we are still interested," Konco tells KickOff.com.
"We are still waiting."
Meanwhile, Phunya Sele Sele playmaker Mahlasela has been strongly linked with a move to Chiefs.
According to sources, the 26-year-old has not returned to training at Siwelele after the festive break.
Konco was tight-lipped when asked if Mahlasela, whose contract with the club expires in June, is Chiefs-bound.
"We will wait for the club to make an announcement, nothing else."
