Bernardo Silva says goalless draw against Crystal Palace shows even Manchester City are not "invincible"

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva says the team are happy to still be unbeaten in the Premier League this season but admits that “in football, you are never invincible”.

The Citizens saw their 18-match winning streak in the English top-flight come to an end last time out as they were held to a goalless draw against Crystal Palace, and were fortunate to achieve even that after the Eagles missed a stoppage-time penalty.

City still hold a whopping 12-point lead at the top of the standings but Silva believes the result at Palace highlights the vulnerability of any football team.

"In football, you are never invincible," Silva told Sky Sports.

"Of course it has been good up until now. In the Premier League, we haven't lost yet a game so it is very good for us and our confidence.

"But we have to keep working the same way we have been doing from the start of the season. That is what we will try and do.

"It is good for the confidence not to have lost yet."
