Orlando Pirates have been boosted by the return of three players, while two others could be set for late fitness tests, ahead of their meeting with Baroka this weekend.

The Bucaneers will host Bakgaga in their opening fixture of 2018 at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening, as they look to get their campaign back on track in the second round.

Coach Micho Sredojevic will be relieved with the full recoveries of full-backs Innocent Maela and Mthokozisi Dube, while striker Lyle Foster has also rejoined the squad after featuring for Amajita at the COSAFA U-20 Champs in December.

Foster's return perhaps comes at an opportune time after the 17-year-old frontman bagged three goals at the regional tournament, including the opener in the Final victory over Lesotho.

Meanwhile, midfielders Thabo Qalinge and Thembinkosi Lorch could face late fitness tests after suffering groin and hamstring strains respectively.

New signings Diamond Thopola and Phetso Mangala could also be in contention, provided their registration papers are processed in time, after joining the Bucs from Chippa United in December.

Kick-off on Saturday is scheduled for 20h15, with tickets available at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers outlets nationwide.
