New Chippa United acquisitions Linda Mntambo and Mxolisi Macuphu expressed their joy at returning to the top flight.
Both players played in the PSL for Jomo Cosmos previously, but the club was relegated at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
Mntambo, who was captain of a Cosmos side currently in a good position to win promotion this season, says although there were a few other PSL teams interested in him, he chose the Chilli Boys because of their style of play.
"Mixed feelings," Mntambo tells KickOff.com.
"I knew that this season we were going to get automatic promotion with Cosmos. We had a good run in the first half of the season. I'm happy to be a Chilli Boy and want to hit the ground running.
He adds that he is going to miss Cosmos.
“Honestly I'm gonna miss Ezenkosi family – my teammates, coaching staff, bus driver, security, groundsman and mostly my dad bra J [Jomo Sono]."
Mntambo, who has signed a three-year deal with the Eastern Cape based club, says he is looking forward to winning silverware with the Chilli Boys.
"I want to get as much minutes as possible and I hope to win silverware with the team. There were a few teams contacting me, but I guess I made the right choice. Their style of play and offer was good. I signed for three seasons."
Macuphu describe his move to the PSL side as a great feeling.
"It's a great feeling playing in the top tier of the country always," he said.
