Midfielders Asavela Mbekile and Sibusiso Kumalo look to be on the way out at Mamelodi Sundowns as coach Pitso Mosimane makes space for new signings in the January transfer window.
Sundowns recently sold Colombian striker Leonardo Castro to title rivals Kaizer Chiefs, but have set their sights on recruiting fellow South American forwards Gaston Sirino and Gilbert Alvarez Varga ahead of their return to the CAF Champions League in 2018.
"We are waiting for two or three to come in and we will be releasing three to four because we kept them for the Champions League," said Mosimane.
"So there is no Champions League and we have to release them," added Mosimane, who earlier this month also declared Brazilian defender Ricardo Nascimento is up for grabs.
Meanwhile, the former Bafana Bafana coach dismissed speculation that Downs are again eyeing injured Cape Town City winger Aubrey Ngoma.
City boss John Comitis last season chastised Mosimane for allegedly making an offer to the contracted attacker, with 'Jingles' in no mood to receive another "love letter".
"No, I don't want to speak about Aubrey Ngoma because I am gonna get that love letter that circulates the whole of South Africa.
"I am not gonna talk about it, it's not right."
Mosimane has not lost hope of retaining Zimbabwean playmaker Khama Billiat, having recently secured the services of Motjeka Madisha, Themba Zwane, Kennedy Mweene and Siyanda Zwane.
